Earlier this week the
five million dollar defamation suit brought against felon Bernard Kerik by famed attorney and former best friend,
Joe Tacopina, was quietly dismissed with prejudice after Plaintiff Tacopina pursued a subpoena of the
New York Daily News and former co-defendant reporters,
Michael O’Keeffe and
Nathaniel Vinton.
After Felon Kerik and his unscrupulous pro bono attorney,
Timothy Parlatore, ("partner" in the virtual law firm,
FisherBroyles LLC) lost both their counterclaim in this action as well as a disciplinary bar complaint against Tacopina, agreed to the "stipulation" of dismissal with prejudice.

According to an article in the
New York Post, "The defamation suit alleges that Daily News reporters Michael O’Keeffe and Nathaniel Vinton were “pursuing a crusade against Rodriguez” and – wanting to “undermine Tacopina’s reputation and credibility” – approached “admitted liar and cheat” Kerik for information and “found a willing partner” to help them “pull it off.”
It appears it was in Tacopina's best legal interest to agree to the stipulation of dismissal. It is widely known eight-time convicted Felon Bernard Kerik, whose Federal probation is up for review in mid-October 2016, has no money or assets of legitimate means. Joe Tacopina has a
successful and viable law career in the United States and Italy. Ain't nobody got time for
Felon Kerik whose fifteen minutes of fame is slowly expiring.
But Felon Bernard Kerik's court calendar is still jam-packed with his own US Federal probation review (with his unpaid criminal restitution and resulting US Federal Tax lien
reportedly over one-half million dollars), the rumored divorce proceedings from his
third wife, Hala Kerik, the upcoming criminal trial of friend Frank Ditommaso on the beating of Felon Kerik's other ex-friend,
Larry Ray, as well as the civil copyright infringement case and a future defamation civil suit involving his co-author Plaintiff and ex-friend, Dara D'Addio, of "
From Jailer to Jailed". Is there a pattern here, Bern?
