Former NYC Corrections Commish and FELON Bernard Kerik was quickly dismissed for a coveted Criminal Justice Reform voice on a Riker's Island Reform Committee formally known as the "Independent Commission on New York City Criminal Justice and Incarceration Reform". Word on the street is that he is none too happy about this snub, either!

The Felon who remains on Federal Probation and was recently slapped with a $360,000 IRS tax lien relating to his crimes, Bernie Kerik, likes to boast on fledgling New Jersey radio station appearances, his time leading Rikers was considered a "model" of superior performance. Some of us are still wondering what happened to the 19 security doors for which the City paid ONE Million dollars back in 2006? Or maybe what every happened to NYC DOC Commish Kerik alleged mistress subordinate,  Correction Officer Jeanette Pinero, for which New York City paid thousands to settle discrimination suits where Kerik apparently wrongfully punished others to protect his alleged jumpoff.  Maybe we could ask his other simultaneous alleged mistress, Judith Regan? Maybe it was Kerik's unrelenting defaming of Mayor Bill De Blasio or NYC DOC Commissioner Joseph Ponte.

Well, green was never your color, Bern, except for those dark green khakis you had to wear every day of your three year Federal Prison sentence in FPC Cumberland, Maryland. We suppose more see you in that role than in any legitimate criminal justice reformer capacity. It's all about the choices people make for their lives. Some don't change. Some show us who they are and we believe them. Some just like to throw it away thinking they are above the law. Sorry not sorry.
